I Started Making Money — But Realized Visibility Is the Real Game
Author
Erdi KöseYou can build in silence for years, but nothing really moves until people actually see what you’re doing.
For the longest time, I thought a good product was enough.
If it worked well, looked nice, and solved a real problem — people would find it. Simple.
And to be honest, it kind of worked.
I started making money.
But not at the level I expected.
Here’s a small snapshot from that early progress:

After a while, something clicked:
the product wasn’t selling itself — visibility was.
When It Hit Me
I’ve always been the type who builds first and talks later.
But the more I built, the clearer it became — staying quiet slows everything down.
People can’t support what they don’t even know exists.
That’s it.
That’s the whole lesson I was missing.
Visibility isn’t about noise.
It’s about connection — the bridge between your work and the people it’s meant for.
Why Visibility Matters
I’ve learned there are two main ways to get noticed: ads and organic content.
- Ads get attention fast — they help people see you.
- Organic content takes longer, but builds trust that sticks.
Both matter.
Because visibility isn’t just about being seen — it’s about reaching people and scaling your income.
The more people discover what you do, the more doors open — sales, collaborations, users, growth.
Without visibility, even the best product stays small.
With it, everything you build has room to grow.
The Hard Part
Doing this as a solo founder isn’t easy.
You’re building, designing, writing, fixing bugs — and on top of that, you’re supposed to post and share?
It’s a lot.
But I’ve started to see sharing as part of the work, not a separate task.
Visibility doesn’t come after you launch — it keeps you moving forward.
Even small updates matter.
Every post, every story, every thought adds a little more recognition.
The Shift
For years, I’ve introduced my projects, but never really introduced myself.
That’s what I’m changing now.
I want to be more visible as me, not just through what I make.
To share the process, the lessons, the struggles, and the small wins along the way.
This isn’t some marketing strategy.
It’s just me deciding to show up — honestly and consistently.
What’s Next
I’ll keep building, of course.
But now, I’ll also keep sharing.
No more waiting for the “perfect moment.”
Because visibility isn’t about being loud — it’s about being present.
And I’m ready to be seen.
Where I’ll Be Sharing
I’ll be posting my thoughts, lessons, and projects on:
